All non-Mason students must apply to George Mason University as a non-degree student before applying to a Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation semester program.
Apply to George Mason University
Go to the George Mason University website and submit a non-degree student application. Choose the undergraduate application, even if you have already graduated. Transcripts from all undergraduate institutions are required for non-Mason students and may be submitted as part of the Non-Degree Application.
The $70 application fee is waived for students who are only applying to Mason to attend an SMSC program. Email Robert Barrett, Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach, at firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions on how to qualify for the waiver.
